Polarization in a GeV RLA

چکیده
Abstract Polarized beam dynamics in a Recirculated Linear Accelerator (RLA) differ markedly from their behavior circular machines. After giving brief overview of the topology RLA we discuss unique requirements for polarized physics experiments carried at these types machines and implications on spin transport. The Thomas BMT equation will be rewritten to emphasize relevant features relationship between transport global accelerator parameters such as accelerating profiles. We consider scenarios which one or more experimental hall has provided with longitudinal polarization how this is achieved. Finally, review possible depolarization precession effects occurring presented. In order illustrate this, examine case Stanford Collider (SLC) where were first observed.

Muon Acceleration – RLA and FFAG
Various acceleration schemes for muons are presented. The overall goal of the acceleration systems: large acceptance acceleration to 25 GeV and „beam shaping‟ can be accomplished by various fixed field accelerators at different stages. They involve three superconducting linacs: a single pass linear Pre-accelerator followed by a pair of multi-pass Recirculating Linear Accelerators (RLA) and fina...
متن کاملOBSERVATION OF RADIATIVE SPIN-POLARIZATION AT 60.6 GeV
Radiative spin-polarization has been used extensively at LEP to accurately measure the beam energy around the Z resonance. As the LEP physics has moved on to the W boson the calibration based on polarization must be extended towards higher beam energies. This is difficult as the depolarizing effects of spin resonances grow rapidly with beam energy. At LEP it has been possible for the first time...

متن کاملDesigning a Multiband Multi Polarization BTS Antenna
In this paper, a new antenna is presented which has an application in cellular telecommunication systems. The designed antenna works at the frequency range of 1900-2600 MHz which is able to cover 2G, 3G and 4G (LTE) services of the cellular telecommunication. In this paper, the micro-strip structure has been used to design the antenna. The shape of the patches is triangular where a peripheral r...
